Family Visit

G's folks had an extended layover in Boston and the children much enjoyed having them here

especially because they came bearing gifts in the form of whoopee cushions

we celebrated Papa's birthday while they were here, always a treat for the boys

A Little Side Trip

G and I enjoyed a lovely weekend in San Francisco, one perk of having a husband that travels frequently!

The weekend was made even more fun as we were met by our dearest friends the Butlers!

We flew San Fran to Dallas and then Dallas back home to Boston, this was the wide, beautiful sunset (cue Jackopierce's Free) flying out of Dallas, one thing we truly miss...

Thanks to a wonderful, highly qualified nanny for keeping our monkeys so we could enjoy a little time to ourselves, when can we book you again?

B's First Day

B's first day of Grand Jardin at his precious little nursery. He has been trying to convince me that his school is "not good for me", this despite the fact that he has attended for the last 2 years and has loved every single moment of his time there. He has been working this angle since S's first day and continued even this morning with the assurance that he would be much better served by attending Kindergarten with S. Good try B, good try!
