How to Make the Most of Hotel Living

Yesterday we spent the day "at home" in our hotel room, all day long. I kept G home from school because another stomach bug had found its way into his poor little body. He felt perfectly fine, but being the rule follower that I am, I could not send him back to school until he had been free from the illness for 24 hours. He was 23 hours healthy at 8 o'clock yesterday morning. The weather just happened to turn very cold and rainy yesterday, too. By 4 o'clock, I had used every trick in my mommy bag, and we were fast approaching the witching hour. What did we do back in the states to pass that hour before supper? We headed outside to play . . . and that's just what we did here! I rounded up the boys, and we went for some playtime right outside in the hallway.





This is when I knew our outside playtime was over:
