case in point: ham
We went to our local delicatessen on Sunday to pick up a couple of things for lunch. I asked the gentleman behind the counter to recommend a ham. He proudly pulled this out before I had even finished asking my question. He told me that this particular boar came from Spain and that it was particularly flavorful. I could hardly speak at that point, so I just nodded. That was something that I just did not need or want to see. I much prefer a ham from a nice, neat, foil-lined package without the foot attached!
My prayers now include being thankful for a husband that is a golfer instead of a hunter!

Well, that sure is different than getting ham from the deli at Tom Thumb!
