Well, well . . .
It's taken 3 months, 23 days, and 10 hours to finally take a deep breath and feel like we're home. Can I just tell you how happy I am to have that feeling? We've unpacked the last box, organized the last closet, and now have everything just so. We're back in the game!
Don't' you just love my game reference? Being the mom of 3 boys, it sure seems like that's about all I'm going to know! My visions of ballet shoes, pink ruffled outfits, and hair bows coordinated with Mary Jane shoes disappeared as soon as baby B was born. I wouldn't have it any other way!
Several of you have asked for photos of our new home, so I will post those soon. But for now, take a moment and enjoy with me the happiness and joy of being in one place and being settled.
And to J. . . G is on the phone with you right this very minute. We're sure missing you guys and can't wait to see you this summer. I'm sure missing those boys, especially during this draft weekend. Seems like something always came up at work so I got to enjoy those boys while J was in Arkansas each year. What I wouldn't give to have my hands on those boys right now!
Welcome
I began this blog in 2008 as we picked up and moved our family from Dallas, Texas to London, England as a result of a fabulous job opportunity for my husband. My primary goal was to stay in touch with family and friends as well as begin an online family photo album to preserve our precious memories. With 3 young boys at home and life moving at a breakneck speed, I found that by taking even a few moments to capture a thought or a photo or a memory from our day provided a much needed outlet and a place to be a bit more intentional and present. Our family enjoyed every single moment of our two years in London before a new role was offered to my husband which also required a relocation, this time to Boston, Massachusetts. We settled in Wellesley in September of 2009 and loved life in our teeny-tiny Norman Rockwell New England town. After 4 fabulous years in Boston, our family relocated yet again, this time back to Dallas. We feel so fortunate to have been given these amazing opportunities to live and visit and experience life in different places and we certainly look forward to many more adventures!
