Being at G's mom and dad's home also afforded us much time to spend together with our families. We enjoyed the time to visit as did the cousins on both sides.

Family Time
G's folks so graciously had us at their home during our visit. They opened their doors and offered their home as ours while we were there. Little did they know what 3 little boys can do to a home in no time flat . . . we'll be sending a check for the professional scrub down and carpet cleaning in the post next week! All kidding aside, we cannot offer enough thanks to G's parents for their kind and generous hospitality, never ending help with the boys, and everything else in between! From just giving over the keys to your cars, to letting us host parties at your home, you did so much to make our visit so easy and enjoyable and we cannot tell you how much we appreciate every last detail that you made sure was taken care of. Thank you!

You can take the family out of Texas, but you can't take the good ol' fashioned Texas fun out of this family! When the dads, no, I mean the kids, really I mean the kids, tired of swimming in the pool, we moved to the playground turned water slide. And let me just tell you, there is more to that slide than meets the eye! It can get a person moving. Especially the big type of person! The ground literally shook when big G and uncle Matt hit the bottom of that slide and were spewed out into the muddy pit at the bottom. The pictures just don't do the moment justice as being there in person to see a grown man come flying out of a tiny yellow tunnel as the structure above it looks and sounds like it is going to give way to the sheer weight and force of the object inside. I don't think I have ever laughed quite that hard. Good times!

The kids grew tired of this brutality, I mean excitement, and moved on to the swings.
S also grew weary of the homemade water slide and decided to whip up some imaginary fish and chips for his PaPa and cousin Tobin.
Not these boys. No sir, we had to drag them off the water slide when it grew too dark to play outside. They are the king of their castle!
And this little king enjoyed looking through the day's photos with his aunt Cynthia.

You are correct, the photos don't show how much fun the big boys really had! It was wonderful to have such fun family memories to enjoy! And Courtney and Rachel loved seeing themselves in the blog!
