To my little B,Where did your 1st year go? It has slipped by so quickly. You have gone from our "bae-bee" to big boy almost overnight! You have 4 teeth, a head full of beautiful, light brown hair, eyes that are a most unusual and captivating light brown, sort of golden honey color, chub-a-dub little legs and arms, a full belly from consuming everything that comes your way, so much in fact that Maya has nicknamed you "our little Hoover", and you have the cutest little pokey outey belly button that I have ever laid my eyes upon. You have discovered this little feature yourself and take great amusement these days in pushing it in and out. I keep waiting for it to squeak! You have been walking for 2 months now and are doing your best at learning to run, no doubt trying to keep up with your brothers. You love to play catch and throw the ball, and your daddy has just taught you how to kick. You amaze me! Your favorite word is "dadada" as it was with each of your brothers, and you are beginning to imitate animal sounds. You have a fierce growl and the most lovable belly laugh, both are music to my ears! My favorite time of the day it putting you to sleep in your crib because you do this belly laugh out of the blue for no apparent reason. Seems that you are just happy to be alive and well! That goes for the both of us.
From the time that you were born just 1 year ago, you brought a true sense of peace and fulfillment to me that I had not known until that very moment in time. Seems that I always felt there was something more, something else, something missing. I'm not sure what God has in store for our family, but I am more than humbled and thankful that He blessed our lives with you. Our family feels complete and whole and more than perfect. I still keep pinching myself . . .
What a year! Happy birthday my little B. I love you very, very much!
