Weekend O' Fun

Over the weekend we attended the Kensington Chelsea Womens Club Halloween party at the Chelsea Old Town Hall. We took our Chelsea football team and had a fabulous afternoon, complete with pumpkin carving, face painting, craft making, balloon blowing and sweet eating. A good time was had by all!

We left the party to find a most gorgeous fall day awaiting outside, so we headed to the Southbank for a walk along the river Thames. We've learned that if the weather is nice, head out immediately because it is sure to change at the drop of a dime! So that is precisely what we did. Along our stroll, the boys found an NBA special exhibit and this is where we spent the rest of our afternoon.

It was tough to tear the boys away, but it was getting late and the little ones were going sans naps. I didn't want to press my luck. I speak from experience! We continued our walk as the weather could not have been more perfect, and this is what we passed on our way home. Have I told you how much I love it here?

I'm enjoying this fairy tale, Mrs. McCurdy! And thank you for the reminder that I have hanging on the wall!

Although I do have to tell you that todays fairy tale ending left a little to be desired Let's just say that our day ended with 2 little boys going from the stroller straight to the bathtub, 3 loads of laundry, 2 stroller scrub downs, complete with sterilization, all of this due to 1 super duper diaper explosion. Not every fairy tale has a perfect ending, right?
