Je t'adore Paris!

We hopped on the train late last night to join G in Paris while he works and we play! You can't beat that plan, right?

I was a bit hesitant about taking the boys out on my own in a town where the only French spoken in this family is by little G, and most of his phrases involve body parts and types of clothing. And oh yes, he just reminded me that he can count to 20 in French lest I forget! Nevertheless, I set out with my 3 little stooges early this morning to see the sights and soak in this beautiful city. We started at the Eiffel Tower:

And then began our leisurely stroll along the Left Bank:

We enjoyed the sights along the way, including the Grand Palais:

We then followed in Churchill's footsteps at the Les Invalides:

Onto the Place de la Concorde, the largest square and oldest monument in Paris:

And finally the Louvre:

Our first stop (are you surprised?):

Along with a few other favorites, this for G:

And this for me, the Winged Victory of Samothrace:

The natives began to grow restless about this time, as evidenced by the bare feet and shoes that were tossed throughout the museum:

So a little leg stretching was in order. I think this will be one of my most favorite memories! These photos were taken in sequence:

B was enjoying a much needed nap during that fun:

Onto the Jardin des Tuileries:

G working on his juggling:

Our last stop of the day was the maze:

A perfect ending to a perfect day in Paris!
