Star Sightings

For the record, we have been here just over a year and have officially seen 2 superstars.

Back in August, G and I were walking with the little ones and we strolled up behind Frank Lampard who is a Chelsea footballer and the top goalscorer for their club. He is probably the equivalent to Troy Aikman in his heydey with the Cowboys. Then on Friday of last week, S and I finished his monkey music class and walked into a little book shop around the corner and in right behind us came Andrew Lloyd Webber. The Andrew Lloyd Webber, composer extraordinaire. Can you tell how cool I play it when I am thrust in a situation such as this? Yep, I'm able to pull off the no big deal, see these people all the time thing quite well. Right. Seems our talented little neighbor was shopping for a Valentine card for his sweetheart.

We have also seen 1 superstar unofficially as Robert during his last visit pointed out Elton John only after he was in his car and half-way down the block. We were enjoying a snack and coffee at a Starbucks right across the street from Christie's where it appeared Elton was doing a bit of shopping. Thanks, Robert, for the heads up, even if it was two minutes too late!

Wow! Andrew Lloyd Webber... Rob probably would have broken into song if he'd been there! The closest celebrity I've seen lately is the Channel 8 news team through the window at Victory Plaza! Keep your eyes open for more!

Nice sightings! I think I would have broken out into song also... "Music of the Night" comes to mind. Great to see you are still stalking.

I am sooooooooooooooo envious! Did you ask him who the Valentine card was for? Sarah Brightman probably isn't in the running anymore. I, unlike Rob and your friend, would have broken into my nun Latin chant from the Sound of Music. Dad and I were stars at one time, as you may know!
