For our second Boston girls trip we took on the city of ... Boston! What fun we had over Memorial Day, beautiful weather, lovely sights, delicious food and drink and most importantly, the dearest of friends! So thankful for the years we have enjoyed together and for the history that is there among us, the distance is far between us yet we can pick up as if not a day has passed.
The quality of these photos is great, no? Can I just tell you how glad I am that I hauled my good camera around in my bag to make sure I snapped a few good ones? Right, it was all great until I asked a most handsome young man at the next table to snap our photo and his reply was simply, "What are you, my mother?" Major blow to the self-esteem right there! The girls being as supportive as they are assured me it was only because of the mom-type camera, still not sure and still stinging!
I can say the jab, stab actually, was worth it as I am able to document this fabulous dinner with these fabulous friends! Thanks so much for coming up and thanks to the other halves at home who did their part with the little ones so that we could enjoy our weekend together. You mean the world to me and I am so thankful for each of you! Already looking forward to the next Boston girls trip, perhaps LA?
