. . . was the loss of Sloan's first baby tooth!
That little peanut had barely a wiggle from that tooth and he worked day and night to get it out. I have not seen that amount of determination in anyone and he could not have been more excited to loose that tooth.
Don't you just love this photo? The new gap on the bottom row of teeth. Those precious little baby teeth still waiting to be wiggled out. That sweet mustache of hot cocoa. Those beautiful blue eyes sparkling with anticipation of a tooth fairy visit. I wish you could hear the way he speaks now, without that tooth in the way. It's different, older even. More confident. Seemingly small moments that are extraordinary in the life of a 6 year old. How lucky I am to get to watch these moments unfold . . .
