As tradition holds, I met my dearest girlfriends from school for a weekend away before we move. Four years ago they came to visit us in London before we relocated to Boston and this time we all met in NYC for one fantastic weekend!
Seems the girls also thought it would be great to celebrate my upcoming birthday (a big one mind you!) while we were together too. Have I mentioned how thoughtful and kind they are, how they never fail to help me see the bright side of turning one year older, especially as this aging thing happens overnight, seriously... where did all of these white hairs and age spots come from? Just when I was needing a little pick me up, this was presented, are you kidding me?
Thanks girls. Really.
Jo, you are the last to join us in this "40 is fabulous" decade and I'm saving my best for you. Get ready...
We shared so many laughs and cocktails and mistaken celebrity sightings, the girls even made an appearance on the Today show, how fun!
And look who we just happened to bump into (who am I kidding, we stalked!), Skinny Girl herself!

Don't take it personally though that I might hold a 45 year grudge and invite Bethenny instead of you for my next birthday dinner! Kathy, she would never take me to McDonalds!
