Slow and steady wins the race right?
We're noticing the subtle changes as we make our way south with regard to the landscape, gas prices and food options. There seems to be a Bojangles and a Cracker Barrel in every town south of the Mason Dixon line!
We stopped for one night in Durham, North Carolina. This was quite literally a pit stop for us all. The car needed 4 new tires. Beck needed a doctor after 4 days of fever and was diagnosed with a double ear infection and strep throat. And I needed to wash a weeks worth of clothes for a vagabond family of 5.
We found a little road side motel and the boys could not have been happier! Wondering if the night swimming adventures will be their trip highlight?
