We've had so much fun this summer especially considering that we are only 3 weeks into it...so many snow days to make up this year!
We first welcomed Gil's dear friend Kyle Dreyer into town. He spent a week with us and we couldn't wait to show him our favorite Boston spots! We caught the historical highlights on a duck tour, enjoyed a fabulous evening at Fenway and spent a day on the thrill rides and water slides at Canobie Lake Park:
Greg and I toasted our dear friend and neighbor at dinner in the North End to celebrate her birthday, cheers Alicia!
Our long time friends the Brewers were in town touring BC and we were thrilled to meet them for lunch at Eagles Deli. What fun it was for these two boys to catch up and reminisce, boy do we miss them!
Someone decided it would be "wicked cool" to have earrings, really?
And someone else had a little run in with our kitchen counter. Two staples to the head put him back together and he was as good as new. One tough cookie I tell you!
We've also had a pigeon trapped in our fireplace, yet another broken basement window, no hot water and an air conditioning unit that went out during our first heat wave of the summer, all of this days before we close on this home. Never a dull moment!
