Our next stop was Nashville and we were over the moon to connect with our favorite Ron Whitler and his boys for the evening. We shared a pizza dinner at the Dragon Park in town and had such fun recalling our youth group days and mission trip highlights with our illustrious leader back in the day. Ron and his amazingly talented wife Celia were an integral part of our high school and college years and not only played an important part of our wedding, but they were there for our first date and throughout our courtship! It was a perfect evening and we so enjoyed the time spent with Ron and his children.
A trip to Nashville wouldn't be complete without exploring its vibrant country music scene...wish you could have seen the boys' eyes, wide as saucers as we drove down Broadway and passed the honkey tonk bars and nightclubs!
Fun evening in Nashville for sure!
