I have been struggling in the evenings with having enough hands to go around. Lots of mommy guilt over the fact that I can't spend a good amount of time with each little one. It was just G with our undivided attention for so long, and his bedtime routine was quite lengthy as a result, lots of stories, snuggles and back scratches. We didn't have the juggling act that we have today. I'm so thankful that we do, don't get me wrong. We waited for such a long time to be here, and I savor each and every crazy moment. I just have this nagging guilt over individual quality time.
Big G very patiently listens when I have these guilt-ridden moments and always comes up with a most practical solution. To this dilema, his answer was to have G help with S, so that I can take care of B. And that has been working beautifully! Here is a photo of G narrating our bedtime stories. Before G even sits down with the books each night, S is climbing over him to get in his spot right on G's lap. They truly melt my heart.
