On School Projects

We're back home after an amazing holiday and back to the reality of nappy changes, peanut butter and jelly sandwiches and school projects. Living the high life was good while it lasted, but it feels oh, so good to be back home!

G has been studying the events of World War II this term and has had a project looming over his head for several weeks now. The directions were ambiguous leaving ample room for the children to stretch their creative minds, the only instructions being to create a project relating to the children in London who were evacuated during the Blitz.

That's it. No other details. No nice checklist of what to include. No indication of how it will be graded. I can hardly type this because I have the shakes over the obscurity of this assignment!

After spending the weekend hard at work, this is what G created. Pretty impressive if I say so myself! He is proud of his effort and his end result. I am proud that I was able to avoid being committed over this little project!

Thanks Joe for intercepting our moment of panic! And to Kevin and Clark, the music is for you. Nobody will appreciate it more!
