Day O' Disney

We're back home from our family holiday and I am finally finding a moment to catch up, whew!

We spent last Tuesday at Disneyland and when I say we went hard, you cannot even begin to imagine just how hard we truly went! We were there before the gates opened and we closed the place down. According to Greg, we averaged 2.5 rides per hour and we saw every attraction and rode every ride that was on our Disney to-do list. This was the first time all 3 boys met the height requirement for the roller coasters and let me just tell you how happy that made the littlest boy! He rode California Screamin' no less than 5 times and as he went through the line, they checked that height of his over and over and over again. Should have seen the smile on that ones face!

I can't believe I convinced Greg to pause long enough to snap these photos!

This particular photo is a great visual illustration of the way in which each member of our family views thrill rides. Seems it actually illustrates our personality traits in all areas when I stop to think about it!

Greg - bring it on, I love it, which ride will we get to next, I wonder if there will be a line, are there any Randy's donuts left, I love LA, I wonder if there will be an earthquake while we are here, I hope there will be an earthquake while we are here, and on and on and on and on

Me - a million thoughts in my head, mostly thinking of every possible thing that could go wrong and hurt or kill one of my boys on this ride

Gil - Joe Cool, I know there is a photo being taken of me, have to look at the camera at the right time and give them the point

Sloan - I've got this, no worries. Not a concern in the world, cool as a cucumber

Beck - I.LOVE.LIFE.

This picture is worth way more than a thousand words to me!

Sloan was bribed, I mean Sloan decided, to ride Tower of Terror with Greg. And wouldn't you know, those two got stuck on that aptly named ride. 30 minutes in the pitch black, not knowing when that little compartment might drop hundreds of feet. This is Gil's worst nightmare, and now quite possibly Sloan's too.

We could not have had more fun at Disneyland, a magical day for our family indeed!
