We began the next day at the San Diego Zoo. In true Nelson fashion, we zipped through in an hour taking in all that we cared to see and then decided to call our time at the zoo complete.
We ventured to La Jolla after we left the zoo and thoroughly enjoyed meandering our way along the scenic sea walk. We discovered a sea cave that led us to a beach teeming with seals that seemingly enjoyed our company as much as we enjoyed theirs. Should have heard those animals talk!
The boys couldn't stand it any longer and this is how we spent the rest of our afternoon, a perfect California beach day!
We enjoyed the little town of La Jolla so much that we stayed for a wonderful dinner at the Whisk n' Ladle, what a fun spot!
