KS Has Talent

KS stands for little G's school by the way.

Still trying to use code here in my best effort to protect our family!

I just got back from the talent show at G's school. What a show! I continue to be quite impressed with the planning and effort that go into these school activities. I especially like the emphasis at KS that is placed on confidence and poise as the children perform in front of their peers.

G and two of his little buddies performed a dazzling dance rendition to Push It To The Limit.

Just close your eyes and imagine 3 eight year old boys, in all their concentration and seriousness, trying to show off their best dance moves in a somewhat coordinated, synchronized effort.

Sort of resembled them having ants in their pants. Lots of ants in their pants, nipping at their bums, causing them to fling and flail in a rather wild manner!

They made Elaine's dance on Seinfeld look beautifully choreographed and executed!

The boys worked with G over the weekend to come up with some synchronized moves for the chorus. We're convinced that this was the clincher that put their act in the winners bracket. (They placed 2nd for their year group just so you know!) The crowd especially loved the move where all 3 boys fell to the floor. I think I heard several gasps as some of the moms must have thought the boys had actually injured themselves!

In all seriousness, the boys did an amazing job and had quite a presence on the stage to say the least.

The next photo is of the performance by the head junior school teachers. You should have seen that one! G's teacher is on the far right, Ms. Emma.

Remember I mentioned a while back at how young these teachers seem . . .

And finally we have the judges. On the right we have Mr. Magoo, the headmaster of our most proper English school!

Yes, we continue to be more than pleased with our choice of schools for little G! Their motto is work hard, play hard as evidenced by today's festivities.

Way to go, Gil! You look like a rock star. Hope Mom and Dad filmed your dance so we can see it in Salado. Or better yet, you can teach it to us when we are together. Love to all of you, MiMi
