Whoops-a-Daisy

Here is S's stage debut! He played the role of shepard in his nursery production of Whoops-a-Daisy Angel.

I'm not sure if there is anything cuter than 2 and 3 year olds doing a nativity play!

For weeks now, S's teacher and headmistress have expressed their concern over the fact that S was refusing to sing during the nativity practice. He wasn't uncooperative, just wouldn't open his mouth, even a little. They asked on several occasions if he enjoyed singing at home. They seemed quite surprised to hear how musically inclined we thought he was, especially when they learned that he could sing the words to most of Bon Jovi's greatest hits.

As you can see from the video footage of the performance, S did not disappoint as far as our expectations were concerned. He knew that we were all wanting him to sing, and in true Nelson style, expressed his strong sense of self by doing just what he wanted to do.

He looked quite angelic with a sweet smile across his face, but his mouth never opened. Not once.

Whoops-a-Daisy my sweet little angel!
