Master Closet Transformation

There really aren't words to describe our original master bedroom/bath/closet space. It was quite choppy and divided into lots of little rooms, a his and her bathroom as well as a his and her closet. Here is what we were working with, the her closet

the his closet
the his bath

I spent countless hours mulling over this space, how to configure the rooms, how to design the closet space, how to work with the crazy amount of shiny brass and gaudy marble that lay before me. Greg breezed in one day in the middle of construction and I expressed my frustration and bewilderment over this nutty lay-out of a space. He literally took one look, paused for a moment and then said easy...knock down the wall dividing the two closets, cap the secondary bath plumbing and then knock down the wall dividing that bath from the adjacent closet essentially turning the small rooms into one big closet. So with that expert architectural and design advice, this room was DONE!

Now I present what I affectionately call The Taj Macloset

And while there is nothing I love more than a little order and organization, my absolute favorite part of our closet is this!
